Stannah Stairlifts in 2017 was celebrating 150 years and opening their first direct sales location outside of Toronto. It was also their 25th year in the USA. Sales are continuing to grow strongly, their direct sales locations have also proven to be successfull in the New England area, also in California through Acme Elevator and Philadelphia (a search for incorporations showed Stannah Interstate Lift, Inc.) This is clearly working very well for the 150 year old company. Masterminds behind Stannah Stairlifts Brian and Alan Stannah also received the prestigious MBE for their services to British Manufacturing.
