Harmar is moving to a new and larger location in Sarasota FL only one mile from their current location….. That doesn’t make the move that much easier.
Harmar is making the biggest move in it’s 23 year history with close to double the space for their manufacturing and overall 60% larger than their current location. The new place consists of 225.000 SqFt.
Located in the Northgate Center Business Park, a few miles north of downtown Sarasota. The move is just a few miles away but quite a large one when transporting the entire factory floor across US-301.
The new factory is a significant upgrade from the old one with more comfort and happiness for their employees . This is extremely important to them according to CEO Steve Dawson. There will also be a need for more employees.
They estimate the move will take about 50 truckloads.
